Food Bank

Northside is honoured to partner with the Surrey Food Bank.

We serve as the Food Bank’s North Delta distribution centre, operating on alternating Tuesday mornings from 10 am–12 noon. In this partnership, the church provides a safe and warm facility, as well as many of the volunteers, and the Surrey Food Bank provides technical and logistical support to meet the needs of the clients being served.

To receive food, you'll need to register. This is what you need, per adult in the household :

  • Government-issued picture ID, such as Driver's License, passport, BCID
  • Proof of address: a current (within the past month) phone, hydro or cable bill or other official mail with your name and address on it. A hand-written rent receipt is not acceptable.
  • Proof of low income: EI cheque, last 2 pay stubs, or bank statement with the amount of direct payment circled.
  • For all others: Proof of dependents: You must have care cards for each child living in your household.
