Pastor of Youth and Young Adults: Mattias Ekkert

Mattias joined us in June of 2019. He is passionate about teaching the Word of God and teaching others to read it for themselves. He loves getting the opportunity to mentor and walk alongside the Youth and Young Adults of Northside as they grow in their faith and become the next generation of leaders.

Mattias enjoys watching and playing sports, good food, good books, and doing life with his wife Stacey and sons Isaiah and Malachi, and their daughter, Adia.

Church Secretary: Marjorie Jobling

Marjorie is our part‐time Secretary (Mon‐Thur, 8:00 am-2:00 pm). She is a full-time wife to husband Rick and mother of two young men. In addition to her smiling face when you enter the church, and her cheery voice when you call the office, Marjorie is the administrative support to the many ministries throughout the church.

Children and Families Director: Mackie Wiebe (on maternity leave) Sarah Helms is filling in temporarily

Mackie is our part-time Children and Families Director and is a long time part of Northside. Mackie has a passion for children and seeing them grow in their understanding of Jesus. 

Facilities Custodian and Groundskeeper: Adam Jobling

Adam works with us part-time (Mon-Fri, 8:00-noon) to keep things looking clean and bright. The buildings get lots of use each week by many groups who meet here.

Church Leadership:

We are a congregationally led church. Members vote on important decisions at our congregational meetings (3 per year). They elect the Elders Board, which is responsible for the spiritual well-being and direction of our church, and the Deacons Board, which oversees the various ministries and organizational areas of our church. 

For communication and to expedite decisions, the Lead Team, made up of the Lead Pastor and Chairs of the Elders and Deacons Boards, meets monthly or as needed.
